Project Overview

The Process

Our process is based on the double diamond design framework and agile management practices. We aim to and focused on key phases of discovery, definition, development, develop and implementation.

Gathering Insights

I wrote interview scripts for our stakeholder and customer and I conducted an interview with our stakeholder with my teammate. After collecting the recordings and notes, our UX team worked together to synthesize the information and data to then pass on to our development team.

Solutions to Problems

The UX and Development teams worked collaboratively to conduct an ideation session in which we defined the problem, converged to collect ideas, and find solutions. Doing a Crazy 8's session helped to visually convey our solutions and successfully found solutions that are within our scope.

Focused and in Scope

Based on stakeholder and customer interviews, our user mapping and personas, we were able to focus on the main pain points and how we could solve them by implementing certain functions into our design. Deciding which functions to focus on by ranking the severity of the problems for users and stakeholders helped us to stay within our scope and in budget.

Efficient and Simple

Finished design for both desktop and mobile web versions show complex insurance information in a more digestible and simple manner. Giving both tech-savvy and tech-beginners a less stressful experience with online car insurance purchasing.
